The COBB grill allows for both dry and moist cooking methods. Moist cooking involves adding water or other liquids to the bottom of the inner container for enhanced flavor and tenderness.

For smoking, place wood chips directly on the heat source (briquettes or tablets). For longer smoking times, wrap the chips in foil and poke holes in the foil before placing them on the charcoal.

After cooking, use the included lifting handle to safely remove the container with hot coals or tablets. Shift them to the side to extinguish by pouring water or covering with sand. Once cooled, pack the grill into the bag for easy transport.

Maintenance is simple; fats and oils drain into a removable collection channel, which can be lined with foil for easy cleanup. Apart from the universal grill plate, the grill components are dishwasher safe.
